Step 2: show the receipt to Macken Funeral Home, (507) 282-1075
Step 3: If you are getting assistance from county, work with Macken to submit necessary paper works. If you are paying, contact Macken funeral home and they will provide you latest fees.

Logistics:
1. contact the mosque if you need help washing the body. Text or call brother Abdul Qadir at 507-271-6235 or brother Said at 507-254-0936.
2. usually, washing/ghusl needs to start at 9AM so it is ready for Janazah (funeral) prayer at the masjed for Duhr prayer at 1:30PM (summer) or 12:30PM (Winter).
Macken Funeral home will bring the body to the downtown masjed at 17 N Broadway
3. After prayer, body is taken by Macken funeral home to Oakwood cemeteries Muslim section at 3681 Viola Rd NE, Rochester, MN 55906

Rules at the Cemetery / grave site that you agree to abide by:
- No upright head stones, monuments, boards or grave markers will be allowed in the cemetery.
- If the family wishes to purchase a name plate / marker, they must contact the cemetery office or monument company of their choice to obtain a marker. The cemetery will install the marker following the cemetery guidelines. Otherwise, the cemetery will remove any markers if you install it on your own. Please note: the marker must be flat on the round. No high markers are allowed. Please contact the cemetery for guidelines if you order on your own.
- The family and friends of the deceased are welcome to lower the body/vault into the grave with the equipment and soil provided by the cemetery. At no time, is anyone allowed to enter an open grave space for any reason.
- All burials will be allowed to settle naturally for a period of 45 days after which time, the grounds crew will level and seed the space.
- Under no circumstances anyone should be doing any alteration of the graves, that includes but not limited to: putting new dirt, removing dirt, putting stones or retaining walls etc.
- I(we) agree if there is any dispute, the final and legally binding arbiter and decision maker is Oakwood Cemetery and Masjed Abubakr Al-Seddiq. I (we) agree to abide by their decision.
